The Compact Township for the Fishermen Community is a thoughtfully designed residential settlement that caters to the unique needs and lifestyle of the fishermen community. This innovative project aims to create a cohesive and sustainable living environment that promotes the well-being and prosperity of the community.

Located in a coastal area, the township is strategically planned to provide easy access to the sea, ensuring that the fishermen can pursue their livelihoods with convenience and efficiency. The layout of the township takes into consideration the close proximity of residential units to the waterfront, allowing for seamless integration of work and home life.

The design of the township priorities functionality, efficiency, and resilience. The residential units are compact yet comfortable, offering practical living spaces that optimise the available land while ensuring the residents' privacy and comfort. The architecture incorporates local materials and vernacular elements, creating a sense of cultural identity and a harmonious integration with the natural surroundings.

In addition to the residential units, the township encompasses essential amenities and facilities that cater to the specific needs of the fishermen community. These include communal spaces for fish processing and storage, boat docking and maintenance areas, as well as marketplaces to facilitate the sale of their catch. These facilities are strategically placed within the township, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that supports the economic activities of the community.
