The Compact Township for the Fishermen Community is a thoughtfully designed residential settlement that caters to the unique needs and lifestyle of the fishermen community. This innovative project aims to create a cohesive and sustainable living environment that promotes the well-being and prosperity of the community. Located in a coastal area, the township is strategically planned to provide easy access to the sea, ensuring that the fishermen can pursue their livelihoods with convenience and efficiency. The layout of the township takes into consideration the close proximity of residential units to the waterfront, allowing for seamless integration of work and home life. The design of the township priorities functionality, efficiency, and resilience. The residential units are compact yet comfortable, offering practical living spaces that optimize the available land while ensuring the residents' privacy and comfort. The architecture incorporates local materials and vernacular elements, creating a sense of cultural identity and a harmonious integration with the natural surroundings. In addition to the residential units, the township encompasses essential amenities and facilities that cater to the specific needs of the fishermen community. These include communal spaces for fish processing and storage, boat docking and maintenance areas, as well as marketplaces to facilitate the sale of their catch. These facilities are strategically placed within the township, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that supports the economic activities of the community.

Eco capsule is a self-sustained bio module which contains a complete unit of natural ecosystem combined with human habitat. The main target to make these eco capsules is to pay back the green to Mother Nature that we destroyed with our concrete civilization. In these modules, a self-sustained system is created by introducing local farming techniques in a futuristic way where both crop and livestock exist simultaneously and support each other’s food chain. Moreover, their dump is contained in a tank underneath the capsule and converted into biofuel with the help of a biofuel reactor. The structure of these eco capsules is steel framework for the shell and beaten, compact and lightly burned clay for outer screening. A very popular and nature friendly local material Jute fabric is used for some additional screening that traps the moisture. There is a core running through the heart of the capsules that provides structural strength and accommodates circulation and ducts for pipelines to the biofuel reactor. Here combined farming system is introduced in different layers such as, fish + rice + duck at the same layer or fish + rice and poultry + dairy at different levels so that the dump from dairy and poultry layer can complement the food of fish and crops. The module can be produced in large numbers like an industrial product and people can use them individually or few of them together. It can be put anywhere such as rooftop, any barren land, open space, on water in a word anywhere. They are easily portable and can be moved with the help of cranes. In a nutshell, these eco capsules are portable small units of ecosystem that can transfer the green that is consumed by concrete to our rooftop.

Preserving historical architectural and archaeological sites requires a delicate approach that not only retains their inherent design characteristics but also transforms them into living museums of architectural history, adapting to the advancements in technology and modern construction methods. In a world characterized by rapid urbanization and technological acceleration, the task of preserving these sites takes on added significance. It necessitates a collaborative effort involving historians, architects, conservators, local communities, and policymakers. By navigating the intricate tapestry of heritage, design, and technological progress, we can ensure that these sites continue to stand as resilient bridges between our past and our future, instilling a sense of reverence for our history while inspiring generations yet to come. Through the strategic integration of modern technology and construction techniques, historical sites can transcend their static existence and emerge as dynamic educational hubs. By leveraging augmented reality, virtual reconstructions, and interactive exhibits, these sites can transcend temporal boundaries, offering visitors a captivating journey through time and space. This convergence of tradition and innovation imparts a deeper understanding of architectural evolution, allowing visitors to perceive the gradual shifts in style, technique, and purpose that have transpired across epochs.

In today’s world, Bangladesh is the name of a rising power, on the verge of becoming a developing country after decades of suffering in extreme poverty. The Energy and power sector plays a very important role in this journey, by holding huge responsibility of regulating the new era of mass developments in our country. Sharing the same 2030 vision projected by BERC, we designed an iconic building that accommodates all the modern facilities that paves way for achieving our dreams of future Bangladesh. A commercial building can offer a lot to both its internal and surrounding environment if designed properly. Here, the head office designed for BERC, accompanied by a water body on its west, holds social and environmental liability that is expressed by its simple and sharp formation. A unique shape, emerged from the linear site, contains many sensible and functional ideas that makes this building stand out in the city scape. The users can connect with the nature and contribute to its betterment by producing renewable energy. The heat, humidity, dust and sound pollution rendered by Dhaka city is nulled here by its basic design, not by mechanical support. This building represents an articulated solution for everyday office chores and stands straight to inspire the young dreamers of Bangladesh.

When we speak of mosques, we project a stereotypical image. A solid base crowned with one or multiple domes, arched colonnades, tall minarets and breathtaking intricate patterns on these surfaces. While there is no strict rules defining the form of the mosques, formal appearance of the mosque has remained largely unchanged over thousands of years. There are different styles of mosques pertaining to different regions and times but the overall form remained largely unchanged. Attempts to experiment with forms of the mosques are found but minimal. An iconic mosque should be the one which breaks free from such stereotypes yet remain recognizable as a mosque. And as such, analysis of traditional mosque is necessary.

The current national museum and public library stands as a venerable but weathered structure, grappling with the challenges of time's passage. With a commitment to rejuvenating its essence, our endeavors encompassed a comprehensive assessment, exploring avenues to reimagine the facility through a contemporary lens while retaining its original purpose. The pursuit of a sleek, modern silhouette guided our vision, with an emphasis on unassuming geometric lines and a thoughtfully articulated modern façade. Our foremost goal was to seamlessly amalgamate the building's historical functions with a modern sensibility, thereby creating a harmonious and functional convergence. This endeavor materialized as an entrant in an architectural competition, aimed at forging a dynamic and cohesive complex that seamlessly integrates the roles of the national museum and library, offering a testament to the past and a gateway to the future.

Our Design echoes a sophisticated articulation of essences decoded from the genetics of the context with an awareness of the indigenous past, which has the power to arouse sentiments, revive the senses, deliver energy, making people proud. An interplay of decoded visual gravity of the context is there which echoes, harmonized interplay of natural ambiance, visual gravity by magnificent mountain space (a gradient of sense of heaviness to lightness as lower portion with darker ambiance & upper portion is with lighter bluish ambiance); also perceived in old temples & monasteries ( Stony-heavy lower portion with wooden or other lightweight upper portion echoing the gradient of visual weight from base to top). The concave roof line complements, enhances the significance of the convex (upward directional) skyline of the mountains. The spaces of this useful infrastructure is being shaped by the materials that tells their stories. (Material Culture: Colors in doors & windows echoes their vibrant nature, Articulation of stones and wood echoes their past stories of how to adapt earthquake & other forces of nature, stories of availability & their affordability etc). Century old traditional Nepalese Gurung Houses didn't collapse where most of modern structure collapsed. It's Symmetrical form rendered good performance in Earthquake. But context with diverse forces, parameters may not always offer full symmetry, which results diversity. In both cases there are some gain or loss. Thus a balance between the two is considered where negative impacts of earthquake have been mitigated through the strategies which has been shown in diagrams.Since the approach composed of decoded material culture (material that reflects their stories) & local techniques, the design will be significant in terms of local acceptance & elements of this design will help local people to improve their lifestyles and explore diversity, rather than monotony, designing similar solutions. Sustainable considerations (Bio gas, Rainwater collection & wastewater treatment,solar energy), participatory approach using local technique, Diversity, Robust functions, Resilience, social acceptance (through articulation of decoded local essences) will act as a source of knowledge for the Local people.Each and every truth will give this architecture a unique character. New stories of promising, resilient, progressive community may start from here. Thus a foundation of trust is going to be laid in everyone's heart through reviving perception, absorption of the essence considered and performance by the local people, which will inspire them to be resilient, strong and to grow proudly.

Considering the urban context and lifestyle of the local young adults of Chicago, the aim of the design was to build a low cost sustainable housing for the homeless sheltered young generation. The definition of home varies from person to person; from multiple perspectives towards "home", we believe that home is a place that can be customised with the need of user, a place becomes "home" through flexibility with the user in terms of choice of space, customizability, stability, privacy. This design tries to imprint the image of the home for those young adults through participatory design where the young users have full access to customize their modular homes in a grid structure. A multifunctional Shell derived from the weather condition of Chicago and the local architectural morphology is introduced along with the housing modules (homes) to make an identity and to unit all homes to a single Home and to make an approach towards green architecture. As from the requirements of the competition, we strongly believe that designing a full functional communal space, acting as the heart of the "Home", is very vital to the young adults. The homeless young adults may find their own residential units into single one, where the design bears their essence of living and becomes their identity of Home.

Suppose today is March 27, 2062. There have been radical changes in every LIFESTYLE of mankind in the last 50 years. Revolution took place in different sectors of science and TECHNOLOGY as massively as in the case of Use of ENERGY, Use of SPACE, Control of Environmental POLLUTION and protection from natural CALAMITIES. Information Technology boosted to its prime over the years and new dimensions have been added to TRANSPORT system and human communication. COMPACT DEVICES for education, business and entertainment have been part and parcel of human life. Massive use of HOLOGRAPHIC screens and PROJECTIONS in day-to-day life and in trade and commerce are making them easier and easier. But what kept increasing constantly is POPULATION and RADIOACTIVITY appeared to be detrimental to human existence in some localities. Radioactive wastes from a huge number of NUCLEAR PLANTS accumulated on earth and have been quite impossible to deal with. However, the severe energy crisis that took place in the world in the early 2030s was easily solved as NUCLEAR ENERGY stretched its immense hands. World's huge energy demands were met up quite easily but the SIDE-EFFECTS are concerning human beings heavily. Nevertheless, human beings are finding their feet against radioactivity in recent years and are on the verge of passing an important milestone and as they attempt to secure themselves and the ENVIRONMENT from this danger. A dwelling unit now is most commonly a cube, COMPACT and MOBILE, roaming around the city. Each dwelling unit has a fixed ROUTE, on the atmospheric space PROGRAMMED centrally by the city administration. No two routes intersect each other and a particular unit cannot go beyond its own route. There are STATIONARY HUBS around the city where the cubes can rest. These hubs are located near PUBLIC PLACES such as markets, parks, schools, airports, commercial area, stadiums and so on. Each living unit has its own 'HOME' in calm and secure apartments. in the residential zones of the city. Scientific advancement was successful to minimize pollution of air, water and sound over the years. NUCLEAR REVOLUTION gifted better use of MAGNETIC IMPULSE to us and within a very short time of discovery people got over this easy and CHEAP FLOATING CUBES gained popularity everywhere and as the world' grew smaller, MODERNIZATION spread like disease.

In this conceptual competition, our focus was dedicated to delving into the immersive encounter of harmonizing with a bicycle, envisioned as a versatile representation of an entire lifestyle. In the context of Bangladesh, a nation rich with its own dynamics, a bicycle not only takes on the role of a dwelling but also emerges as an emblem of liberating mobility, encapsulating the essence of freedom and autonomy

With a fervent participation in the Robi office design challenge, our vision embraced the principles of energy efficiency and sustainability. Spanning an expansive 5000 square feet floor, our innovative creation harmoniously incorporates a vibrant lounge, an inviting reception area, versatile meeting rooms, and thoughtfully designed office spaces.Distinguished by its dynamic and spirited design, our creation casts a colorful aura throughout the interior, seamlessly interwoven with the distinctive Robi theme. Solar power integration not only exemplifies our commitment to sustainability but also serves as a testament to modern solutions.Elevating the functionality and aesthetic allure of the workspace, our winning design redefines the concept of a contemporary office environment, resonating with Robi's ethos while prioritizing efficiency and sustainability.

With an unwavering commitment to innovation and resilience, our entry centered on crafting a structural masterpiece poised to defy the ferocity of nature's elements, including the relentless onslaught of cyclones and floods. Our design not only embraced the architectural aesthetics that harmonize with the coastal beauty but also married this elegance with an indomitable spirit of protection. Through ingenious engineering and meticulous planning, we aspired to create a haven that not only embraces its environment but also champions the safety and comfort of its inhabitants in the face of nature's trials.

We took part in an architecture competition where we designed a special monument at Dhaka University campus to honor the brave heroes of the 1971 war of independence. This monument serves as a place for everyone to come together, reflect, and show respect. It's also a way for future generations to learn about our country's history and the sacrifices of the heroes who fought in the war. The design is simple, with strong concrete walls, and it has inspiring words engraved on them. This monument is meant to be a peaceful and powerful reminder of our past and the courage of those who fought for our freedom.

In this architectural Design competition, our focal point resided in the creation of a unassuming monument, a tribute resonating with the courage and selflessness exhibited by the gallant freedom fighters who ardently defended our nation during the pivotal year of 1971. This monument stands as an embodiment of a literary work, its essence firmly rooted in knowledge, enveloped by the very heart of simplicity conveyed through concrete walls.

I participated as a team member of ‘Synthesis Architects & Engineers’ in this architectural design competition. My role was the 3D visualization of the conceptual project.
